Stephen Franck is the Director of the Lewiston office of the Maine International Trade Center. In addition to his work with companies in Southern and Western Maine, Steve is the Director of the Trade Center's Greater China Desk, which assists Maine companies doing business in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, through research, matchmaking, and other related activities. 

Steve, a Auburn, Maine native, has recently returned to his homestate from an international law firm based in Taipei, Taiwan, where his work focused on joint ventures, foreign direct investment, and fair trade law. Prior to this, he worked for two other law firms in California and interned from 1997-98 with the Maine International Trade Center. From 1993-96 he served as a Consultant with a trading company in Chung-Li, Taiwan, and prior to this taught English to corporate clients such as Motorola, Ford, and Dow Corning in Taiwan. Fluent in Mandarin, Stephen holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maine School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine.
