Bisaillon-Cary Named Trade Center President

From PPH Staff Reports

PORTLAND, ME -

Janine Bisaillon-Cary has been named the new president of the Maine International Trade Center, the center’s board of directors said Monday.

Bisaillon-Cary was appointed by Gov. John Baldacci and officially assumed her duties as director of international trade for Maine following a special session of the state Senate on Sept. 11.  The trade center promotes international trade and coordinates trade missions.

Bisaillon-Cary has worked for more than 20 years in international markets, including seafood export and consumer goods import markets.  She has served as the trade center’s vice president for six years and as a senior trade adviser specializing in the food, agriculture and consumer goods sectors.

She has served as interim president sine July1, when Richard J. Coyle stepped down after almost six years to start his own consulting firm.
