Join the Maine International Trade Center (MITC) at Export 101-  the Tools of Exporting in order to obtain the essential knowledge and understanding of basic international trade terms and methods  necessary to become competitive today!

Export 101 - The Tools of Exporting is an imperative course for the first-time exporter as well as a useful primer for new staff.  Topics to be covered include Incoterms, common international terms of payment, export finance programs, as well as the preparation of shipping documents.

The Maine International Trade Center brings to you:  Joe Mooney, Vice President of International Banking at Citizens Bank, an international finance expert to discuss securing payment for products shipped overseas, and Lynn Easler, General Manager at Emery Forwarding,  to discuss the logistics of exporting goods abroad.  This seminar will take place on October 24th, 2002 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Export 101 - Tools of Exporting  will be located at MITC on 511 Congress St., Portland, Maine - Lunch will be provided.  Cost is $65.00 for members and $80.00 for non-members of the Maine International Trade Center and free to all legislators.  For more information please contact Catherine G.
