Spotlights Fastest Growing
PORTLAND, ME - The Maine International Trade Center (MITC) is offering a new seminar focused on doing business with China, currently the fastest growing market for Maine businesses. The seminar entitled "China: Sourcing & Sales" will be held on Thursday, November 13th, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in South Portland. This two-part program looks at opportunities and barriers to trade and features "real world" best practices and lessons learned for both sourcing and selling. The morning session focuses on importing from China and includes valuable information for manufacturers interested in sourcing components or alternative product lines. The afternoon session covers key topics for exporters such as the current business environment, protocols, and the CCC Mark. Participants may register for the full-day program or for either of the half-day sessions. This one-day seminar is part of the International Trade Education Series sponsored by Citizens Bank Foundation and will be held at the UNUM Provident Learning Center in South Portland. Space is limited and advance registration is strongly encouraged. Costs to attend are: $65 for MITC members and $95 for non-members for the full day or $30 for MITC members and $60 for non-members for one of the half day sessions.
