| Each year the Trade Center organizes a gubernatorial trade
mission as well as smaller missions. The Trade Missions provide
one-on-one meetings with potential foreign trade partners
and unique networking opportunities.
Trade missions are particularly useful for first time exporters
or companies that have had difficulty expanding into a particular
country or market. The Trade Center arranges most details
of the mission including transportation, translators and business
meetings.
The Maine International Trade Center has led trade missions
to South Korea, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, Japan, Taiwan, U.K., Iceland,
Italy, Hong Kong, Germany, The Netherlands,
Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.
