AGNIESZKA CARPENTER
Trade Assistance Specialist

Agnieszka Carpenter is a Trade Assistance Specialist at the Maine International Trade Center (MITC). A Polish native from the industrial region of Upper Silesia, she holds a dual degree in English Philology and Marketing and Management, with particular interests in marketing strategies and market research. At MITC, Agnieszka supervises the research team and handles general requests.

In 2011, Agnieszka received MITC's annual Future Global Leader Award, which recognizes MITC’s most outstanding research intern of the year. Prior to her promotion to Trade Assistance Specialist, she worked at the Trade Center as a Research Assistant. Before moving to Maine, Agnieszka worked as a teacher and trainer, both in academic and corporate environments from 2005-2009. During that time she spent her summers in Scotland and traveled extensively throughout Europe.
