Maine International Trade Center Trade Missions and Shows
MEDICA 2010 - Düsseldorf, Germany, Nov. 17-20, 2010

Join the Maine International Trade Center and the Best of New England at MEDICA 2010!

Join companies from Maine and our New England neighbors at the premier medical product, device, and service trade show in the world. MEDICA 2009 in Düsseldorf saw 138,000 visitors and over 4,300 exhibitors with an industry-wide spectrum. It provides the perfect opportunity to meet with buyers, distributors, agents, and researchers from Europe, North America, and over 60 other countries around the world.

2010 promises to be even better!

2009 was a record year for Maine exhibitors and all signs point to an even more successful 2010! Participation is on a first-registered basis and with the amount of success Best of New England and MITC have shown in the past, earlier is better to secure your spot!

Why the Best of New England booth?
  • Great Location! The Best of New England Booth (BNE) has a prime location at MEDICA, at the end of a key thoroughfare within the U.S. Pavilion, with three open sides, plenty of visibility, high traffic, and within close proximity to essential business services.
  • Maximum opportunities and returns. MITC staff will assist with pre-show market research and locating your best target companies. Pre-show marketing maximizes your time at MEDICA by providing contact lists, company profiles, and efficient plans for contacting the most potential buyers in the smallest amount of time.
  • Fewer resources for a larger footprint. The BNE booth is 1/2 the price of a solitary booth and 3 times the size.
  • General MEDICA registration is already closed. General registration for solitary booths at MEDICA closed in April and long wait lists for space are the norm.
  • Expert staff. The BNE booth has expert staff who have been to MEDICA before and can assist you with your needs while there, helping with show coordination, meeting scheduling, and additional support services.
  • Free marketing! Yes, free. The BNE booth and the U.S. Dept. of Commerce offer to BNE companies several ways to promote your exhibition and presence at MEDICA. Plus, meet with U.S. Commerce Medical Device/Services specialists from various European countries to gain valuable information about additional market opportunities.
  • U.S. Pavilion Lounge. As part of the U.S. Pavilion, you get access to the lounge for extra space, free snacks and beverages, and more!
  • Much, much more! Internet and electrical access, exhibitor passes, locked closet space, cleaning services, access to receptions, extra furniture, appealing signage and graphics.

Additional programs
  • Showcase Global Program – The U.S. Commercial Service will conduct pre-show promotion on your company's behalf via their European-wide network at other U.S. Embassies and Consulates to alert international distributors that you will be at the show, and invite them to visit our booth.
  • Showtime – Meet one-on-one with the medical industry specialists from the U.S. Commercial Service from around the world. These specialists can give you in-depth information on the markets in their countries, including sales opportunities and applicable regulations.
  • Global industry focused promotion – An innovative (and free!) international trade lead program only for U.S. exhibitors provided by the U.S. Commercial Service, and free with your participation with the BNE!
  • Market research and counseling – before, during and after the show.
