Maine International Trade Center Trade Missions and Shows
Trade Missions and Shows
The Trade Center sponsors trade missions and organizes participation in trade shows to promote Maine's goods and services to markets around the globe.
Trade missions
Each year MITC organizes a gubernatorial trade mission as well as smaller missions.

The Trade Missions provide one-on-one meetings with potential foreign trade partners and unique networking opportunities. Trade missions are particularly useful for first time exporters or companies that have had difficulty expanding into a particular country or market.

We have led trade missions to Canada, South Korea, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, Japan, Taiwan, U.K., Iceland, Italy, Hong Kong, Germany, The Netherlands, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.

The Trade Center arranges most details of the mission including transportation, translators and business meetings.
Trade shows
The Trade Center offers group trips and discounts on overseas trade show space through its alliances with other government agencies. This is a convenient way for members to participate in overseas shows and display products internationally.

We also host international conferences and incoming delegations from overseas. Trade Center members enjoy opportunities to network with foreign buyers, commercial representatives and visiting dignitaries.
Become a sponsor
We invite you to consider becoming a sponsor of a trade mission or show. Sponsoring lets you to connect with the international business community and promote your business and services.

We are connected to over 5,000 internationally active Maine companies and individuals, and are known for the quality and depth of our events.
