Peter Raucci
International Trade Specialist
Peter Raucci joined Maine International Trade Center in May 2026 as an International Trade Specialist. In this role, he leverages the communication and relationship-building skills he developed in the military to support Maine businesses in expanding into new and competitive global markets. He is passionate about helping companies identify opportunities, navigate international partnerships, and succeed on a global stage.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Peter developed a strong appreciation for service, discipline, and teamwork from an early age. Coming from a family with a background in military service, he followed a similar path by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, where he served from 2015 to 2020.
During his time in the Marines, Peter was stationed both domestically and overseas, including assignments in mainland Japan, Okinawa, and South Korea. There, he worked closely with allied military counterparts, gaining valuable experience in cross-cultural communication and international collaboration. These experiences helped shape his perspective on the importance of building strong relationships across organizations and borders.
After completing his military service, Peter relocated to Maine, where he quickly developed a deep appreciation for the state’s vibrant business community and abundant outdoor recreation opportunities. He continued his education at Southern Maine Community College before transferring to the University of New England, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
