From Incoterms to Commercial Invoices: Essential Logistics Considerations for 2026

Join Maine International Trade Center for an engaging workshop on must-know 2026 logistics topics. Navigating evolving compliance, documentation, and logistical hurdles can be challenging. This workshop is designed to offer practical information related to key export documents, Incoterms, and recent changes to international trade compliance.
Kristen Morneau, Director of Compliance at OCEANAIR, Inc., will explain Incoterms, define who has the responsibility for charges, dictate where risk transfers from the seller to the buyer, specify who is responsible to Customs declarations, and much more. It’s important to know what Incoterms your business typically uses and check for more suitable Incoterms or impactful changes from Incoterms® 2020. Similarly, commercial invoices are essential to tell the story of your transactions to the impacted federal agencies. The session will conclude with an optional commercial invoice review to introduce several best practices, offering participants a hands-on opportunity to review their existing invoices.
